The carbon is excellent quality and whilst the cuts were a little sharp along the edges it was easy to clean up with a bit of wet sanding. My only issue with the QL7 is that the arms don't quite meet up in the center of the frame which allows them to wiggle a little. This gap can be packed with something to prevent movement but it would be nice if it wasn't there at all.

shame there is not an 8 inch option. frame weight is very light for long range build. shave an extra gram or 2 by lowering top plate. build arnes on underside of bottom plate for extra build room. small gap where arms meet in centre. would like to see all arms touching in tge centre to help eliminate movement

The carbon fiber is very rigid, the holes are precise and include a lot of spare bolts in case you lose them. I missed a brochure explaining how to mount the arms, but managed to assemble it with the product images online
